Sword of the Demon Hunter Kijin Gentosho Anime will air on March 31, 2025. The Kijin Gentosho anime will be broadcast in 2 cours. The first episode will be a special episode and it will be one-hour. Here is the official storyline,
“Edo period, Japan. A young warrior, Jinta, has dedicated his life to the protection of a priestess in a remote mountain village. When demons appear and threaten the shrine, Jinta is tasked with entering the forest to hunt them down. But the mysteries he uncovers there change his fate forever, and send him on a journey traversing space and time. Jinta’s dark destiny will carry him through hundreds of years of history, as he struggles to answer a single question: why does he wield the sword?“
Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho Storyline
The story is set in the Edo Period of Japan. It follows the journey of Jinta, a warrior whose only goal is to save the Priestess in the mountain village of Kadono. His mission is to protect the Itsukihime, the Maiden Shrine. One day, Jinta meets a demon man in the forest and finds the history of the shrine. It is also revealed a demon in the future will destroy the shrine and kill all people.
Jinta travels to the future and lands in the Heisei era. He has to defeat the demon man in the future to save people and protect the maiden shrine. Jinta explores new villages in different eras and meets strange characters in every era. As the story moves, Jinta experiences problems and meets new demons. He eventually manages to win the battle against demons and saves the shrine.
