The wait is finally over as the One Piece manga returns with Chapter 1132 – here are the spoilers and release date of the upcoming chapter.
One Piece has finally entered the long-anticipated Elbaph Arc, the second story arc of the Final Saga. As the Straw Hat Pirates voyage to their new destination, the story takes an interesting turn by introducing a new mysterious character: the infamous Prince Loki of Elbaph.
But before the story could reveal more of Loki, the manga took a sudden two-week-long hiatus due to the creator Eiichiro Oda’s health problems. But the extended break has finally ended and One Piece is coming back this week to chronicle Luffy and his crew’s adventures further.
In Chapter 1131, Luffy meets Loki, who tries to manipulate the pirate into freeing him from his chains in exchange for revealing more information about Shanks. The chapter ends before readers can find out what Luffy decides, which may or may not be revealed in the upcoming One Piece Chapter 1132.
One Piece Chapter 1132 spoilers
According to the spoilers, One Piece Chapter 1132 is titled ‘Adventure in Elbaph’. The title page continues with Yamato’s side story. In Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, Vol. 19, Yamato arrives at the under-construction Udon Castle. The castle is being built in the middle of the old prison mine.
Chapter 1132 starts with Dorry and Broggy’s ship – the Great Eiric – finally reaching the Elbaph port. A kid named Collon, who was previously seen talking to Shanks in Chapter 1076 in the bar, comes out to greet them. He tells the ship to stop but Dorry and Broggy say that they’ll head directly for the upper world.
Collon decides to follow them above. A flashback reveals that Shanks told him about Luffy and he’s now curious about the mysterious Straw Hat Luffy. The bar lady gives Collon food for his adventure and asks them to give some to a person named Ripley.
The Great Eiric arrives at the point where a rainbow connects the sea to the second level of Elbaph’s giant tree. It’s revealed that the giants on the ship built the rainbow road with Sea Stones, which they call ‘Painters’ in Elbaph. They set sail on the rainbow and are eventually joined by Hajrudin and Stansen’s ship.
The remaining Straw Hat crew on the Great Eiric are amazed by this experience. Jinbei says that Luffy and the others are going to love it.
Back to the bridge above the Underworld, Gerd and Goldberg find Luffy coming out of the lower level. Gerd is instantly charmed by the “small human”. When they ask about Luffy’s time in the Underworld, he remembers Loki’s words to not share this experience or their promise with anyone. He lies very badly but fortunately for him, the giants think it’s due to his horrible experience in the Underworld.
The scene in One Piece Chapter 1132 then cuts to Nami’s group. They’ve already crossed the bridge and arrived at a forest. Road is still chasing them but is suddenly hit on the head by a tree. It turns out it was the group’s plan to take him down without directly engaging him.
Gerd and Goldberg arrive then and beat up Road. Luffy is reunited with the rest of his group. He, Usopp, and Chopper run ahead to see a huge village.
The Great Eirik and Hajrudin’s ship are also heading toward the same village through the Rainbow Road. Dorry and Broggy explain that there are three levels in Elbaph – the upper-most level called the Heaven World, the second level called the Sun World, and the lower-most level called the Underworld. They’re currently in the Sun World, which is so huge that one cannot see it entirely, and are approaching Dorry and Broggy’s village.
A brilliantly illustrated double spread in One Piece Chapter 1132 reveals Dorry and Broggy’s village. The houses in the village appear to be built on tree branches. There are many cloud islands floating around; there’s even a huge castle that resembles the castle Road had in his LEGO world.
Everyone is awed by the sight before them, Luffy and Usopp in particular. A mini flashback reveals their conversation back at Little Garden where they expressed their dream of arriving in Elbaph one day. This is also where the whole Straw Hat crew reunites.
The reveal of the giant village is interspersed with a narration. It says: “Great size… brings about sensation… No words would do this view justice. This is the ‘Kingdom of Warland’ on Elbaph Island. It is a Kingdom of Giants that is commonly referred to as collectively ‘Elbaph’…”
The last page of One Piece Chapter 1132 reveals that the narration is from a famous book called ‘Little Garden’, written by a renowned explorer named Louis Arnote. The narration continues:
“From the grasses or trees, vines to flowers and the insects, fishes, or birds, including all the animals, one can only gasp at the sheer size of everything. Fellow explorers, the time you spend here will not be fruitless.”
The last panel shows the silhouette of a person entering the forest as a giant grizzly bear stares at him in the background. The unknown person has long hair and wears a hat from Wano. Louis’ narration concludes One Piece Chapter 1132 with:
However… If I am to record only one thing about the mysterious land of ‘Elbaph’, the place where everything is huge… I wish for you to remember my words somewhere in the back of your mind. Do not prolong your stay in this land for too long.”
