The exciting announcement was made during a special fan event, “Tsuwabuki High School Literature Club Extracurricular Activities,” held in Akishima on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
Adding to the excitement, an announcement trailer has been released, offering a first look at the upcoming season and reminding viewers of the charming chaos that ensues in Kazuhiko Nukumizu’s life.

The first season of Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!, animated by A-1 Pictures, aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2024. The series follows the story of Kazuhiko Nukumizu, a self-proclaimed “background character” in high school who finds himself unexpectedly entangled in the romantic misfortunes of several popular girls who have all been rejected by their crushes.
