Even after the devastating first half of the series, many people praised Boruto Two Blue Vortex for keeping things simple. The introduction of Jura, the leader of Shinju clones, raised the stakes in the story. Considered the final villain by many, the Tree God’s imposing nature and sheer strength have been a significant part of the story so far. However, beginning the final boss of the series doesn’t make sense to few.
If you are following Masashi Kishimoto from the start, you may notice some similarities between his early works and Boruto. Introducing the final boss this early has never been part of the franchise. While Jura has been a major of recent Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapters, he is not being constructed as the ultimate boss for the main characters to beat. There are other characters, like Kawaki and Shibai Otsutsuki, who could be the perfect candidate to play the role of the final villain. Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Why Jura Is Not Going To Be The Final Villian, Explain
Boruto Two Blue Vortex is one of the most talked about series of recent times, thanks to the introduction of power foes like Jura. He was the latest entry in the series as an antagonist for Boruto, who has evolved from Ten-Tails and wants to kill the Seventh Son. Due to his intention of killing Boruto and creating the Chakra Fruit, he is given the title of the ultimate villain of the series. However, this theory doesn’t make sense to a few.
Of course, Jura is the strongest of foes introduced in the series and makes anyone beg for their lives with his presence alone, he is certainly not the final boss. There is a good chance Jura acts as the opening villain in Boruto Two Blue Vortex-time skips, like Akatsuki in Naruto. The ultimate purpose of Jura is to create a challenge for Boruto to overcome. However, Jura has zero build-ups in the series, and his origin has no connection with the series’ overarching narratives, as most villains tend to have.
In that regard, Shibai Otsutsuki is more suitable to be the villain boss of the series since he is regarded as the God of his race and someone who managed to live for a long time without needing an actual body, which no one ever accomplished. The idea of God stepping up as the final boss in the series is similar to what Masashi Kishimoto did in Naruto with Kaguya but better written.
Moreover, the Otsutsuki has become the overarching threat to humanity since Kaguya’s infamous introduction. And it would be fitting for the story to end against the ultimate individual of the said race. Some theories are going around in the fandom, suggesting that Shibai Otasuki was interested in using Boruto as his vessel, which could be setting up a conflict with Jura. This theory makes more sense since Eight-Tails have their own consciousness and could hurt Otsutsuki.
Kawaki As The Final Villan
Setting up Kawaki as the final villain of Boruto Two Blue Vortex makes more sense because the first scene of the series had him facing the protagonist, so the story revolve around them. Moreover, many people make an obvious comparison between Naruto-Sasuke and Boruto-Kawaki, which could repeated from the original series, but the Kawaki have a much clearer villain path than Sasuke.
In Boruto, there is a significant conflict between Kawaki and Boruto. Kawaki’s strong desire to protect the Seventh Hokage and Eida’s Omnipotence leads to him sealing Naruto and Hinata. This conflict could potentially lead Kawaki down a path of revenge in the upcoming chapters, solidifying his role as the final boss.
Final Thoughts
Jura won’t be the final boss of Boruto Two Blue Vortex since he is meant to be an opening villain in the series. Additionally, characters like Kawaki and Shibai Otsutsuki have a stronger narrative theme that could make them the perfect candidates to play the final villain role.
