After the intriguing Turbo Granny Arc and the heartwrenching Acrobatic Silky Arc, the show commenced the third story arc, i.e., the Serpo Arc, where Momo, Okarun, and Aira face the Serpoians and their hired fighters.
The latest episode of the anime series features the climax of the Serpo Arc, meaning the only thing remaining in this part of the story is the aftermath. In Episode 9, the trio fights against the Serpoians’ strongest weapon: the combination of Nessie and the Dover Demon, renamed the Serpo Dover Demon Nessie.
But after defeating the powerful foe, the trio now has a new problem to face: the gossip of their peers. The fight has left the three scantily clad, inviting many weird speculations from their classmates. What to expect?
As Episode 9 has adapted the first few pages of Chapter 25, Dandadan Episode 10 will adapt the rest of it. That means the trio will face the wild speculations of their classmates while trying to come up with a logical plan to justify it all. Momo bravely volunteers to be blamed for everything and though Aira agrees to it, Okarun firmly stands against badmouthing Momo.
The upcoming episode will also finally sort out the misunderstanding between Momo and Okarun. He’ll confess to training in hiding in hopes that Momo will find him cool, saying that even a fellow like him is a man who wants Momo to think of him as someone admirable. This leads to an adorable and tender moment between the two.
But while Momo and Okarun are okay now, Aira has to face the consequences of her own actions. Despite her words, she has come to care for Momo and regrets spreading gossip about her. So, she confesses to being the one spreading the rumors to her classmates, resulting in her being shunned by her peers. However, this brings Momo and her closer, starting their reluctant friendship.
As the girls grumpily sit beside each other, the Dover Demon suddenly arrives. Momo’s psychic powers reveal the alien’s painful past with his son. So, when he passes out, they bring her to Momo’s home where the alien reveals that he works as a hired goon to pay for his son’s frequent blood transfusion.
Through their conversation, Seiko realizes that the aliens’ blood is milk on Earth. So, they send a cow with the Dover Demon, aka Mr. Mantis Shrimp. Dandadan Episode 10 will probably end with the arrival of Jin Enjoji, aka Jiji, one of the main characters of the series.
