Dandadan has commenced its third story arc – the Serpo Arc – which brings Momo and Okarun face-to-face with the creepy Serpoians once again. This time, they have a new ally in the form of Aira Shiratori. But while they have a new friend to help them out, they’re also about to face some really frightening opponents to defeat.
In Episode 8, Momo and Okarun find themselves in a misunderstanding – and a love triangle – after Aira tries to kiss the young man and confess her feelings. But before Momo and Okarun can sort out the miscommunication, they’re trapped by the Serpoians. The aliens have come for Okarun this time and won’t leave until they’re made to do so.
This leaves the gang to fight the villains with all they can. Aside from Okarun and Momo, Aira also demonstrates her amazing ability in Episode 8. In Dandadan Episode 9, viewers will get to see more of the trio as they face the aliens and their hi-tech weapons.

What to expect
Dandadan Episode 9 is titled ‘Merge! Serpo Dover Demon Nessie!’ and picks up right where Episode 8 left off. After Aira transforms into her Acrobatic Silky form, she gives the aliens quite the fight. But that soon comes to a halt when the Dover Demon enters the fight. Thanks to the Serpoians’ subjugation powers, the alien brutally defeats Aira.
When Okarun and Aira are cornered, Momo thankfully arrives just in time to stop the villains. The Serpoians are scared about facing Momo once again and reveal that they brought the Loch Ness monster just to isolate the psychic from Okarun.
But now that they’re together again, the two try to formulate a plan to save Aira, but Momo is still too upset to collaborate with Okarun properly. However, with Okarun’s promise of an explanation, Momo can finally focus on the battle, which is good since now they have an advanced crab monster to fight.
After Momo, Okarun, and Aira fall into the water, they have to face their strongest opponent: the Serpo Dover Demon Nessie. Dandadan Episode 9 most probably ends up with the appearance of this form.
