Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 16: Release Date & Time

Chapter 16 of Two Blue Vortex is the upcoming installment in the series and will likely pick up from where the last chapter left off. Kawaki will probably go to Amado to inquire about the limiters. Although Amado is aware of the threat that Jura and the other God Trees pose to Konoha Village, he still has not allowed Kawaki to unleash his full strength. This sudden revelation in the series may raise questions that can only answered in the upcoming issue.

Further, fans can expect the character development of Kawaki, who lacks fighting power to save Konoha from Jura and Hidari a few chapters back. Like Boruto, Kawaki is also a vessel of Otsutsuki and can use their powers. However, he lacks one or two things about controlling and using it.

  • Pacific Daylight Time: November 20 at 8:00 AM PT
  • British Summer Time: November 20 at 4:00 PM BST

  • Japanese Standard Time: November 21 at midnight JST

What To Next From Chapter 16?

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is one of the best Shonen series and perhaps the only one whose second part is far better than part one, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.” Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto’s Two Blue Vortex continue to dominate the manga industry, with only fifteen issues released to this date.

After the threat of Jura and the God Trees surrounding the ninja world, the protagonist must step up and keep the planet safe from destruction. However, he cannot protect and fight with enemies alone so Boruto may need help in his mission. Luckily, his comrades, like Sarada and Sumire, agree to help him. Further, he found an ally in the form of Kasin Koji, who guided and trained him for his upcoming battle.

To protect the next generation, Gaara encircles Shinki and his comrade with a sand seal, making himself vulnerable to capture by Matsuri. However, Shinki refuses to let his father be taken; instead, he uses his iron sand to seal Gaara. While saving his father, Shinki is bitten by Claw Grime, turning him into a tree. That’s how Ryu was born in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15.

After being born as a God Tree, the first thing Ryu did was pull Code out from his hideout. He lets Jura decide what they want to do with Code. To the fan’s surprise, the Jura and other God Trees do not consider Code a threat. They asked to kill Boruto, and Code could have Chakra Fruit. However, fans remember Jura doesn’t care about anything more than knowledge, so he cannot hand the Chakra to Fruit to anyone. Ryu asked Jura if he could kill Code if he reappeared. Jura fully supported Ryu and granted him whatever he wanted.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 16 will see more of their conversation and likely make their move of devouring their targets.

Further, Boruto talks with Kawaki about Konoha’s situation and the threat of God Tree to the world. He suggests releasing his Dad, “Naruto,” from the Dauten Dimension and training with him. But this is not an ideal way to go, as the situation is getting out of control, and the planet is on the verge of destruction. Jura and others are the major threat to the world, and Boruto alone cannot defeat them.

Therefore, he asks his brother to help him defeat them, and if he gets out of control, Kawaki could kill him. But that to happen, Kawak must get stronger and ask Amado to remove his limiters. Boruto says that Amado put a limiter on Kawaki. This limiter makes Kawaki better at defense and healing but weaker at offense. Because of this, Kawaki isn’t using his full strength when he fights.

With that revelation in Chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kawaki likely went to Amado and forced him to talk. He may ask him to remove his limiter and team up with Boruto to defeat Jura and others.

Chapter 16 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will showcase Kawaki’s character development as he may undergo significant training to become stronger.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15: Recap

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15 picks up where Chapter 14 left off, starting with a Sand Shinobi’s flashback of encountering one of the God Trees. The chapter highlights Gaara and his team’s defeat by Matsuri, and he is in the blink of death. However, Gaara does not let his comrades die, so he puts his seal on them. While on the sand, Shinki asks,

Please undo your sand! Let us fight with you!!

This also highlights that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is all about the next generation and characters from Naruto getting sided. For an instant, Naruto and Himawari are sealed in the Dauten Dimension, Sakuke turns to a tree, and now Gaara, who will get captured or perhaps killed by Matsuri.

Before anything happens to Gaara, Shinki breaks the sand and uses his seal on his father. However, Shinki was bitten by a Claw Grime and transformed into a tree. Luckily, the seal put by Shinki ain’t broken up, and the only way to unseal Gaara is by killing him.

Impressed with Shinki’s determination to save Gaara, Matsuri says,

He might make an interesting teammate.

Fans following the Two Blue Vortex might understand her comment on Shinki. According to Kashin Koji, his new ability allows him to see multiple possible futures, and in one of many, he see Jura was creating his team of God Trees to fulfill his mission.

In the next panel, fans see that the flashback has ended, and they’re back in the present, where Kankuro explains Gaara’s condition to Shikamaru.

Thanks to Shinki, Gaara is alive. However, to unseal him, they need Shinki since he is the only one who can do that. Therefore, Kankuro came to Konoha’s assistance in saving both Gaara and Shinki. Further, he asks Shikamaru for his favor for not telling Temari about his brother’s situation.

Chapter 15 of Two Blue Vortex shifted back to Jura, who looked pleased to see a new member in his squad of God Trees. He gave the new member his name, “Ryu,” which he liked. However, before he makes a move, Ryu says,

A moment, please, dear elders.

He pulled Code out of his hideout in front of Jura and others. It was surprising since they didn’t sense Code’s presence, even after considering the strongest characters in the series. However, it was revealed that Jura didn’t consider Code a threat, so he preferred to ignore him. However, Ryu is new, so he doesn’t know about others.

Jura tells Code that he should kill Boruto because he is the enemy of both of them. However, Code does not want to take orders and attacks Jura with his Claw Mark. Code quickly realizes he made a mistake when Jura destroys his hand. Jura then offers Code a deal: if he kills Boruto, he will get the Chakra Fruit. Their conversation ends at that point.

Why Is Amado Spying On Konoha?

One of the most conversational topics in the Boruto fandom is the role of Amado in the story. He is one of the intelligent characters and helped Konoha on many occasions. He helped Naruto and others to defeat Isshiki and save Konoha Village. However, things get complicated for Amado after the release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15.

At the end of the chapter, fans notice one or two things. Amado placed a limiter on Kawaki to enhance his defensive and regenerative abilities, even though he was aware of the threat to Konoha. Second, Amado was spying from the very start through Kawaki’s eyes, which suggests he already knows about Aida’s Omnipotence and how Kawaki and Boruto changed their places.

He didn’t say anything after learning Kawaki’s secret and didn’t try to protect Boruto. Although he has helped Konoha many times in tough situations, fans now question his true intentions in this case.

After all, he is the one who created Kashin Koji, Eida, Code, Deamon, and others. Further, he may want Ten-Tails for his experiment. Like Orochimaru in Naruto, Amado in Boruto may be an anti-hero who wants nothing but something for himself.

Animeking: Summary

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 16 is the next in the series and likely takes where the previous one left off, with Boruto and Kawaki splitting up and going their separate way. While Boruto may return to Khasin Koji to explain the situation and Jura’s strength, Kawaki goes to Amado and asks him to remove his limiter. According to Boruto, Kawaki does not use his full strength while fighting his enemies and may require that to deal with Jura and others. Therefore, he went to Amado to remove his limiter and ask why he put a limiter in the first place.

In Chapter 16 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, fans expect a brief talk between Amado and Kawaki about Amado’s reasons. A flashback might show Amado working for Isshiki. He knows Isshiki’s goals and the threat to the world. To counter this, he placed limiters to stop himself from using his full strength.

Since Kawaki is destined to become Isshiki and Code embodies his will, he has placed limiters on both. However, he can only limit his offensive abilities, not his defensive and regenerative capabilities. During their conversation, Amado may remove his limiters and share a way to defeat God Trees.

The scene shifts from Amado and Kawaki to Jura and the God Tree. Jura speaks with Ryu about their plans to attack the Sand Village and capture Gaara. Meanwhile, Boruto and Kashin Koji have a serious conversation where they express their disappointment over Boruto being captured by Konoha.

He might need to get serious, even if it hurts your friends. He must do this. Since Koji’s prediction for the future is coming true, Boruto may have to stop Jura as soon as he can. With that said, Chapter 16 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will be more interesting than the previous issues.
