Sung Jin-woo Vs. Snow Bears
Episode 1 of Solo Leveling Season 2 highlights Sung Jin-woo taking Han Song-Yi to the C-Rank Gate only after being asked by Sung Jinah’s Homeroom Teacher. The teacher was worried about her future as she dropped out of school only after discovering her powers. Han Song-Yi is an E-Rank Hunter, the weakest of all, and if she takes on dungeon raids, there’s no guarantee of her coming out alive. Therefore, she asked Sung Jin-woo, the brother of Sung Jinnah, as her sister is a friend of Song-Yi.
Later, the two visited the White Tiger Guild training ground, where they met Sangmin and Hyun Kichul. Sangmin explained the way everything works in the training ground and how they recruited Hunters for their guild. As Sung Jin-woo and Han Song-Yi entered through the E-Rank Gate, the Gate turned Red. As soon as they entered the Gate, Kim Chul, an A-Rank Hunter, became a leader take some of the Hunters with him while the weak were left behind.
The first challenge Sung Jin-woo faced in Episode 1 was a snow bear, which he finished instantly. He understood the situation and asked Han Song-yi and the other Hunters to rest in the camp he had built to his ability while he went alone to deal with the snow bear. Suddenly, he woke up after receiving a call from his sister, who reminded him of the importance of today’s. As soon as he remembered today’s importance, Jin-woo got dressed and went to Sung Jinah school, where girls were mesmerized by his physic.
He learned about his sister’s academic performance and how she targeted medical college from her Homeroom Teacher. While they were talking, her Teacher asked Jin-woo for a favour to make Han Song-Yi understand the importance of academic education. She is a friend of Sung Jinah and dropped out of school just after she discovered the awakening.
Sung Jin-woo agrees to help as the protagonist visits Han Song-yi at her place. The two have a conversation before Jin-woo takes to the White Tiger Training Ground to teach the consequences of being a Hunter. As soon as they arrived, the two were greeted by the Head of the White Tiger Guild, who let them in the C-Rank Gate. As soon as the two stepped inside the Gate, it turned the Red.
