According to the game, there is a sage, a modern-day Japan whose name and gender can be modified by the player, who is summoned into a realm where wizards and magic exist by a group of wizards known as the Sage’s Wizards. The Sage’s Wizards have been summoned by prior Sages and must join the fight against the Great Calamity, the term given to their moon, which descends once a year, wreaking havoc with its powerful powers.
Before the player character, the Sage’s Wizards lived apart, until coming together to battle the Great Calamity. At the novel’s beginning, they have experienced an unprecedented tragedy in which half of their number has fallen in combat, and they must rely on the new Sage (and the unknown powers that only the Sage possesses) for assistance in the following year’s struggle.
In-game stories are presented in various genres. The event storylines focus on the Sage and a selection of the twenty-one Sage’s Wizards as they train, mitigate the damage caused by the Great Calamity through missions and build their connections with each other.
The manga has 3 volumes, so it’s possible to have more adaptations to the series.
