The Mario & Luigi Brothership will be a team-based combat and players have to manage their hp to survive for a long time in the battle. The brothers, Mario and Luigi, are set for a new adventure on the islands of Concordia. The Concordia world is destroyed, and players have to help the brothers defeat enemies and reconnect the island. The Shipshape island is full of traps and obstacles, but Mario and Luigi can use their moves and jump attacks to overcome them. Players can use special attacks to complete missions and progress. Mario and Luigi can defeat enemies everywhere and loot their rewards. A mission will fail of the brothers fail to cross platforms or island. The Shipshape island serves as the hub for everyone.
Players can explore the Mushroom island and other oceans, and befriend new characters. Beanbean coins , the currency are used to get equipment and resources. Mario & Luigi Brothership offers side-quests and story missions. Players can freely traverse through the Shipshape island and purchase equipment from shops. The goal is to find the Uni-Tree and merge all islands. Rifles and Precision will be the main weapons, and the brothers can claim weapons dropped by monsters in Concordia.
