Kingdom Manga Storyline
The Kingdom manga is set in the Chinese history period. It begins during the Warring States period (475–221 BC). Xin, the protagonist is an orphan and he lives in the Kingdom of Qin. The never-ending wars in China have become a problem for people. Xin enjoys his life with his friend Piao who is also an orphan. Both have only one goal and they work towards stopping the war in Qin. Xin also plans to unite china and bring an end to the war.
Xin and Piao boast battle skills, and they also dream of becoming “Great Generals of the Heavens”. One day, Piao travels to another village, but he gets attacked by rivals. When Piao returns to the village, he asks Xin to shift to another village. Piao is killed and no one knows the reason. Xin accepts his friend’s wish and moves to the neighbouring village where he meets Ying Zheng, who is also the new king of Qin. Zheng wants Xin to help him reclaim his throne from his brother. Xin also finds Piao was the body double of Ying Zheng and he lost his life in a war. As the story moves, Xin becomes a soldier and commander, and unites China in the end.
