Hell’s Paradise Season 1: Plot & Summary
As said earlier, Hell’s Paradise Season 1 is one of the MAPPA Studio’s finest works. It introduced fans to brutal fights, a majestic story, and appealing character design. These are some of the aspects that made the anime fan-favorite. MAPPA Studio, the anime’s production house, take the upcoming season to the next level. Therefore, fans are desperately waiting for the Season 2 of the anime.
Hell’s Paradise Season 1 revolves around Gabimaru, an assassin who intentionally gets caught so he could end up losing his life. But later, it is revealed that no weapon affected him because of the superhuman body he has. Believing his love for his wife is real and keeping him alive, Sagiri Yamada Asaemon, the executioner, offers him a chance to get back with his only if he can elixir of life on Shinsenkyo, a legendary realm.
As the story progresses, Gabimaru works with Sagiri to find the elixir of life while the two meet other prisoners and executioners on the way.
The rest of the anime revolves around the main characters working together with prisoners, executioners, creatures, and gods to get back alive.

Jump Festa: Reveals The Most Awaited Teaser Trailer of Hell’s Paradise Season 2
The official Hell’s Paradise at Jump Festa started at 02:00 PM IST on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Shonen Jump+ 10th Anniversary Stage.
Hell’s Paradise panel featured Makoto Koichi as Nurugai Yumiri Hanamori as Sagiri Yamada Asaemon and other editorial staff members.
Toward the end of the Shonen Jump+ 10th Anniversary Stage, the anime introduced fans to the most awaited teaser trailer of Hell’s Paradise Season 2. The teaser trailer for the anime’s upcoming season was finally unveiled at Jump Festa 2025, where Sagiri Yamada Asaemon and her friends slowly approached the depth of Shinsenkyo, a legendary realm. The trailer also featured a shot of Gabimaru and some other executioners, including Shion Yamada Asaemon.
To the end of the trailer, Hell’s Paradise Season 2 was also promised to premiere in January 2026. This announcement is disappointing for many fans, who have been waiting for the anime for over a year and had expected it to be released in 2025 or earliest.
