It is like a Christmas miracle for fans after the manga rush ending.
The creator had given fans something to celebrate and cherish after the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 271. As fans, it far exceeded our expectations. By doing so, Gege Akutami ended the year on an incredible note.
Yuko Ozawa: Epilogue
Jujutsu Kaisen epilogue opens after the story of Yuko Ozawa, Itadori Yuji’s childhood friend. Her epilogue begins with a flashback of her standing in the snow with Itadori Yuji. This is when the two were in junior high school, and the protagonist expresses his love for snow.
Compared to when you’re young, fireworks become less and less special, but I like snow. — Yuji Itadori.
The flashback ended with Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 271.5 shifts to the present with Yuka Ozawa’s return to Sendai City, her hometown, where she expressed sorrow after witnessing unknown faces.
Suddenly, Itadori appeared in front of Ozawa, catching her by surprise. When asked, Itadori revealed that he returned to his hometown to take care of his grandfather’s house. Ozawa was also here to help her grandmother clean the house as the latter moved to an old house. Ozawa then asked Itadori about his time in Tokyo, still confused with his relationship with Nobara.
Itadori Yuji brought up the topic of how he survived in Shibuya (referring to the Shibuya incident), which made Ozawa worried about his facial scars. Ozawa then revealed that she was in Machida, a city in Japan, to which Yuji claimed to know she was fine. He knows about Ozawa’s health from Nobara (it confirmed the two had exchanged the number during their first meeting).
The epilogue saw Ozawa asking if he still loved snow, to which the protagonist compiled. Itadori Yuji then explains his reason for loving snow and why it is so near to him. Jujutsu Kaisen Osawa’s epilogue ended with a comment from Nobara and Fushigoro claiming, “Yuji Itador was about to become an adult.”
Panda: Epilogue
The epilogue of Panda, the Curses of Cropse, created by Masamichi Yaga, opens with him sitting on the shelf in the Gojo Clan’s main house. He was picked up by two little children (a girl and a boy) as the girl threw the Panda away after learning it was a cursed corpse. Panda says,
This kids have a bad personality.
Panda revealed that the two children were the Yuta’s grandchildren.
Jujutsu Kaisen Panda epilogue shifted to the narrator, who revealed that Panda lost control over his body in November 2018 (the same year Jujutsu Tech defeated the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna) and stopped moving in October 2035. Panda then registered into Gojo family storage and is now owned by Yuta Okkotsu, the Gojo Clan’s head representative. The Panda epilogue ended with the stating that the current timeline where (Yuta’s grandchildren playing with Panda) was in 2080, and after so many years, Panda sometimes moved.
However, there’s no mention of whom Yuta married, which made some fans furious. Some fans theorise that Yuta married Maki Zenin, which makes more sense given the personality of his grandchildren.
Kugisaki Nobara Epilogue
Kugisaki Nobara is one of the most talked-about JJK characters, and her involvement in the finale makes her no more than MVP. She helped the Jujutsu Tech to defeat the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, in a fierce battle. Her curse technique, the Straw Doll, had put the Sukuna in an uncomfortable position, which allows Yuji to land “Black Flash” and end him for the last time.
Nobara’s epilogue in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 271.5 opens with the female sorcerer meeting her mother (who looked like Gyaru). Her mother expressed shock after meeting her daughter after such a long time, but Nobara claimed that she only came to visit her to honour the dead person’s wish (likely Gojo Satoru).
Nobara’s epilogue saw her mother show no guilt for abandoning her only daughter and claiming she was having a happy life. Nobara answered by saying she never cared about her either and only visited to honour the death and have seen something fun. Nobara then waved to her grandmother, standing behind the presumable a cursed spirit.
Uraume Epilogue
Uraume’s epilogue showcased their origins: A young Uraume was sitting in the middle of the ice when the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, approached him.
I didn’t know, it’s always like this. When I wake up, everyone around me is cold. Father and Mother both died because of me. — Uraume.
After understanding the situation the boy is in, Sukuna suggests he should tag along as he accidentally crushed his icehouse (like a refrigerator but of an ancient time). The King of Curses wants Uraume to preserve the meat of the anime Sukuna caught with his power. Uraume was shy and couldn’t make a move, so Sukuna gave him the option to eat if he was hungry.
Uraume’s epilogue ended with the two having a conversation. This epilogue by Gege Akutami gives us valuable information about the characters.
