On Monday, December 09, 2024, during an event in Brazil, Crunchyroll and Ufotable announced the first Demon Slayer film from the Infinity Castle Arc Trio, which will be in 2025. While talking about the film, Crunchyroll, the official streaming partner of the Demon Slayer Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, shared the teaser trailer of the first Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc on their official YouTube channel.

Further, the teaser trailer also reveals the new key visuals of the upcoming film and the glimpses from the last episode of Hashira Training Arc. The trailer commenced with a compilation from the series’ prequels centered around the clash between demon slayers and demons. Whereas the trailer mainly focuses on the meeting between Kibutsuji Muzan and Ubuyashiki Kagaya.

On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures announced the theatrical release of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc, which is set to be adapted into three parts. They acquired the rights to air Demon Slayer Infinity Castle films and others worldwide.

As time began, Demon Slayer covered Chapter 136 from the manga with four seasons and an anime film in the past. All seasons and one film were animated by the animation studio Ufotable (Fate franchise).
