Introduction

Blue lock is an anime about football sport adapted by the manga of same name written by Muneyuki kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura.

Storyline

The story is about Yoichi Isagi an average High school football player who lost his chance to win japan national football competition cause of his teammate bad performance. Now, entering Blue Lock program which is made for japan to win worldcup. Will isagi achieve his dream to become the best striker in the world? Will japan win the worldcup?

Characters

Isagi Yoichi

The main protagonist, Isagi is an average person by looks, personality and physically but what makes him different is his mentally and football iq. He uses spatial awareness, positioning and reflex to overcome his challenges and grow to achieve his dream to become the best striker in the world.

Meguru Bachira

Bachira is one of the main supporting cast in the anime. He is shown as Isagi partner at blue lock program. He took interest in Isagi play style early on in the series.He believes only a monster can keep up with gameplay.

Itoshi Rin

Rin is the main rival to our protagonist Isagi in blue lock program. He has the same weapon as Isagi spatial awareness in the field but also have better stats and physic than Isagi. His goal at blue lock is to crush his older brother itoshi sae in football.

Seishiro Nagi

Nagi is an lazy genius who has emmensce talent and potential football but lack motivation to achieve anything in life and believes everything to be a pain until he was invited to Blue lock to his partner Reo and found motivation to football with Isagi and other cast. Nagi is also the second protag in the series.

Character Development

Characters in the series faced challenge and overcome them in their own way. Main characters never stop growing and learning something new. Most Characters have becomes master of their weapons and uses it to the greatest extent as far in the manga.

In blue Lock, characters usually have one particular way of playing that they use to score in game which is known as there weapon. Weapon’s such as spatial awareness, dribbling, ball control, shooting, etc. Someone characters are good at multiple things or have overall balanced playstyle such as Rin,Sae and Reo etc.

Blue Lock: Nagi Episode(movie)

The movie shows the journey through Nagi point of view instead of isagi as how Nagi came to enter Blue Lock program and Nagi friendship with Reo before and after coming to blue lock. The movie ends with the start of second selection when Nagi chooses to leave Reo behind to become a better player. The movie was first realise in japan on 19 April 2024.

Blue Lock: season 2

The season 2 continue where season 1 ends at the end of 2nd selection and consisting with 3rd selection and U20 arc. With the new season audience will be introduced to new cast and get to see further into old cast. The season 2 will be start on 5th October 2024.

Conclusion

In conclusion, overall Blue Lock is one of best sports series out there. There are some bad points such as bad animation at some scene which could ruin the audience mood but storyline, characters, Development make up for it all infact compare to season 1 there have alot development in animation too. Still if you like anime you can read the manga with so better art style that can allure the audience into keep reading it.
