Ayumu Fujino and Kyomoto find each other out of the blue on a quiet afternoon. Fujino, who loves the attention of her fans and drafts some of the amazing manga in her school newsletter, suddenly finds herself threatened by a socially awkward girl, Kyomoto. An extremely introverted Kyomoto doesn’t do much but just sit at home and make manga. One day they meet each other, and from there onwards, their journey starts. They both initiated Shark Kick at the age of 13 and since that day, they haven’t looked back.
They became a sensation, and with each volume, their popularity grew. One day Kyomoto feels the desire to start her life in an art school. She leaves Fujino and starts her independent journey later to be killed by an idiotic student. This makes things difficult for Fujino as her partner in crime is dead. She returns to her home, where all began. A small strip of paper that Ayumu accidentally slipped under Kyomoto’s door, which starts their journey once again, appears in a parallel time.
This time Kyomoto meets Ayumu as an art student. Ayumu rescues her from the same student who killed her, and this once again starts things from a new beginning. Finding a manga strip from the parallel world makes Ayumu wonder how this came out. As she enters the room, she finds every copy of their manga series and the sequels they have. An empty strip in Kyomoto’s room makes Fujino remember how they met, with their same love for manga. She returns to her workstation and continues to work for Kyomoto.
