“As soon as I read the original Sakamoto Days manga, I was drawn into the world. There are many scenes in the second season that I personally like, and I’m really happy to have been involved in the opening. The difference between everyday life and battle becomes even stronger in the second season. When I thought about how to express that contrast through sound, I deliberately added tension by expressing cheerful everyday life while sneaking in some phrases that feel slightly unsettling. I hope there will be a moment when you suddenly realize the importance of protecting the everyday life you take for granted and the happiness that exists there. Please listen to it a lot.”
