The Once Upon a Witch’s Death is all about Meg Raspberry, a young girl whose life changes after her 17th birthday. Meg is an apprentice and a witch who uses magic to help her friends. Before her 17th birthday, Meg meets her teacher, Faust, who has been a witch for a long time. Her teacher reveals Meg has only one year in her life, but she can increase her lifespan by collecting joyful tears which will help her grow a life seed.
Though Meg Raspberry is sad, she decides to explore the world to find the seed of life. Meg Raspberry joins her friends to accumulate the tears of joy. She meets new characters and visits new place. Meg Raspberry enjoys her new chapter while collecting 1,000 joyful tears. After living her life as an introvert without any friends, Raspberry is elated in her new journey. As the story moves, Meg Raspberry manages to collect all seeds and increases her lifespan, and lives as a witch.
