Reina Aharen, the high school girl, plays the lead role in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai. She is a talented girl who loves singing, cooking, and arts. Reina Aharen is trolled for her expressions as she doesn’t show any expression. As the story moves, she meets Raidō, who is another expressionless student. Raido befriends Reina Aharen and he helps her overcome her introverted behaviour. The duo roam together, play arcade, eat together, and study together.
Reina Aharen’s life changes after her meeting with Raido. She enjoys every moment with Raido and also falls in love with him. Mitsuki Ōshiro is another character in the show who plays a key role as Reina Aharen’s friend. In the last episode, Oshiro meets Aharen and asks if she dated Raido, but Reina doesn’t say anything. Oshiro decides to take revenge, but stops when he says he tried to propose to Aharen. Reina Aharen hears this and she is happy.
