The Ossan Newbie Adventurer is a fantasy adventure series. Rick Gladiator, the man in his 30s has worked as a clerk of an adventurer’s guild for many years. He shifts focus towards adventure and begins working on it. After clearing the adventurer’s guild exams, Rick Gladiator embarks on a new journey as an adventurer.
Rick Gladiator’s rank is poor, but his skills are higher than many S-Ranked adventurers. One day, he meets Reanette Elfelt, the dark elf, who also becomes the companion of Rick Gladiator. Rick Gladiator is surprised when he finds the dark elf is an S-Ranked member of Orichalcum Fist, the greatest party of S-ranked adventurers in the world. She is known as the Guillotine Swordmaiden for her powers and magic. Rick Gladiator agrees to join her guild and he kickstarts the Spartan training.
He writes the E-Rank exam to become an adventurer and unleash the magic powers. As the story moves, Rick Gladiator and Reanette Elfelt become closer, and she develops feelings for him. Rick Gladiator’s transformation begins from F-Rank adventurer to S-Ranked adventurer. He also trains with the new guild for 2 years and becomes the greatest warrior in the world. Gladiator fights with top-ranked fighters and he sets out for a clash with monsters to save the world.
