Additionally, it revealed that the staff of the third season are returning along the TMT Entertainment for the fourth season.
Further, the confirmation regarding the exact release date, episode duration, and title may be revealed later. However, the director of Rent-A-Girlfriend Seasons 1 & 2, Kazuomi Koga, will be replaced by Shinya Une, the director of the third season. The anime promises to cover the Hawaii Trip Arc of the manga. Rent-A-Girlfriend, written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, is a Japanese manga series in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2017. The manga has been available for 30 complied volumes and has over 13 million copies circulation. TMS Entertainment has picked up the manga for the anime adaptation and has made three seasons till now.
The anime’s Season 4 is next and should roll out in 2025. Rent-A-Girlfriend Unveils Season 4 New Teaser Visuals
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, X (formerly known as Twitter) officially revealed the key visuals for Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 4. The staff members further announced the upcoming season of anime release date, which is July 2025. Moreover, the popular romance anime season 4 will be released in two cours with a break in between.
Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 4 key visual features five heroines from the story: Chizuru Mizuhara, Mami Nanami, Sumi Sakurasawa, Ruka Sarashina, and Mini Yaemori. The five girls are depicted on a train station as they prepare to board the train and embark on a journey. With that said, Rent-A-Girlfriend’s upcoming season suggested covering the Hawaii Trip Arc of the manga.
The anime’s previous season covered Rent-A-Girlfriend Dream Arc. As an aspiring actress, Chizuru Mizuhara dreamed of her grandmother watching her featuring in the film. However, with her grandmother’s health getting worse, Chizuru’s dream seemed impossible. That’s when Kazuya Kinoshita took the matter into her hands as he decided to create a crowdfunded film featuring Chizuru Mizuhara. Also, the anime announced returning staff for the season 4.
