The Me & Roboco anime film is gearing up for an April 2025 release.
Boku to Roboko/Me & Roboco is a popular fantasy comedy manga series that’s being like in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2020. The anime film has a new character and it will be Mayumi Tanaka. Mayumi Tanaka will portray the role of a luffy-like Roboco. The character teaser of Mayumi Tanaka was launched at the Jump Festa event. The TV anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll and here is the official story description,

The Me & Roboco anime movie will be released in April 2025. It will be released on April 18, 2025 in Japan. There is no update regarding the film’s release in other countries.

The Me & Bindo film is directed by Akitaro Daichi who is known for ‘Kamisama Kiss’, ‘Ninja Girl & Samurai Master’, and ‘Nobunaga no Shinobi’. Gallop Studio produces the film. Sayuri Ooba is the story writer and designs for characters are done by Yuko Ebara. Ayami Minowa will work as a color designer.

Me & Roboco Storyline
Me & Roboco has an interesting story. It is all about people in the future world and their obsession with Household Maid Robots. The story is set in the future and Bondo Taira plays the titular role. Bondo Taira is a 10-year old boy who loves Weekly Shonen Jump. When his friends and neighbours get a new robot, he wishes to have one. Bondo Taira’s mom accepts his wish and allows him to get a robot.
When Bondo Taira receives Roboco as his Maid, the fun begins. Taira’s robot doesn’t function and his life becomes a mess. Bondo Taira gets irked by Roboco’s activities, but he begins to like her. Roboco is a 17-year old powerful robot and she transforms into a slim body when there is no charge. Roboco serves and helps Bondo Taira and they develop a new bond. As the story moves, they meet new Robocos and explore a new adventure.
