See You Tomorrow at the Food Court manga series is confirmed for an anime adaptation in 2025. The Slice of Drama series is being published on Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website. After 4 years, the anime adaptation has been confirmed and the announcement was made through the official Twitter account of the series. The original manga is written by Shinichirō Nariie and Yen Press serializes the series’ English version.
Kadokawa also revealed the premiere date of the “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court” anime series along with a teaser visual and illustration. The story is written by award-winning screen writer Jukki Hanada. Rent-a-Girlfriend (2020) fame Kazuomi Koga is the director of the series. “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court” is a tale of two young girls and their journey during their high school period.

The official website of See You Tomorrow at the Food Court confirmed the anime series will air in 2025. The Slice of Manga series will be premiered in Summer 2025, but an official confirmation is awaited from Kadokawa. The See You Tomorrow at the Food Court is a journey of two high school girls – Wada and Yamamoto. Wada is a rich girl who loves video games and Yamamoto is an avid fashionista. In the anime, Wada is portrayed as an Honor girl who also has a mysterious side. Yamamoto is an intimidating student who also loves urban legends and YouTubers.
The girls have different goals, but they meet at the Food Court every day. Wada and Yamamoto develop a bond at the Food Court after their daily interactions and rants. Yamamoto also falls in love with her favorite YouTuber and Wada becomes a 2D character in one of her favorite video games. As the story moves, Wada and Yamamoto become closer and explore the world together.

The crew of See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime features experienced and young artists as well. Kazuomi Koga is the director for the series. The story is written by Jukki Hanada of “Girls Band Cry” fame. ‘See You Tomorrow at the Food Court ‘ anime is produced by the Atelier Pontdarc Studio who are known for Uncle from Another World and Unworthy of Living in Another World. Kyuta Sakai is the character designer.
