My Dress-Up Darling Season 1 Plot
My Dress-Up Darling is a popular Slice-Of-Life anime based on the manga series of the same name by Shinichi Fukuda. The plot revolves around Wakana Gojo, a high schooler with a soft spot for Hina Dolls. When he was a kid, Wakana wanted to become a skilled Kashirashi (Master Craftsman) like his grandfather.
However, after being called out about his passion for Hina Doll’s gross, Wakana lost his self-confidence as he was afraid to show his true self to others. This isn’t he met Marin Kitagawa, the school’s most popular student. Everyone wants to be friends with her, including Gojo. However, they are the two opposite person.
One fine day, while sewing clothes for A Hina Doll on the school’s sewing machine, Marin Kitagawa, who just happened to pass by, caught him red-handed. Unlike others, she found Gojo’s passion quite impressive as she has a soft for cosplay.
After discovering Gojo’s skills with the sewing machine, Marin asked him to make a costume for her. She wants him to make a Shizuka-tan cosplay costume.
