City Hunter Creator Tsukasa Hojo Announces New Cat’s Eye Anime

Another Disney+ mystery crime thriller, Cat’s Eye, is getting a reboot in 2025. The popular 80s manga series that ran for four years in the 1980s is returning with a fresh concept. City Hunter Creator Tsukasa Hojo Unveils New Anime Cat’s Eye: What to Expect?

After a huge success with the crime thriller series City Hunter, Tsukasa Hojo is bringing another manga revival. The mystery thriller Cat’s Eye was featured in the Weekly Shonen Jump edition from 1981 to 1985. The anime ran till 1985 on television, and two movies were also made. Now, after 30 years, the anime is brought back into action. The anime will exclusively feature on Disney+ in 2025.

Previously, the series included 100 episodes with two seasons. This time, we will see a new adventure in a different light. The teaser features an interesting backdrop of a cafe and a heist to steal something priceless. Towards the end of the teaser, we see three shadows of women. What do these girls want? All will be revealed soon.

The story starts with three sisters, Hitomi Kisugi, Rui, and Ai owning a coffee shop. The three sisters run a cafe in town named Cat’s Eye. They both live double lives. During the day they are cafe owners, and at night they are art thieves. They steal all the art from galleries and museums but are on a different mission. They are looking for their father, who was once a retired art collector.

In this heist to find their father and live a life full of risk, they deal with police and a man who betrayed their father. The story will unfold with many ups and downs and how these girls change the course of their lives and find their father’s culprit.
