Who Is Glorio In Dragon Ball Daima?

Glorio is one of the few characters introduced at the beginning of the Dragon Ball Daima, and he is perhaps the only one about whom fans have no information till now. Introduced in Episode 1 of the Dragon Ball Daima, Glorio appeared as a full mysterious Majin who wanted to defeat King Gomah, the new ruler of the Demon Realm. He travelled from the Demon Realm to Earth. There, he met and asked for their help to defeat Gomah.

Dragon Ball Daima is a 2024 adventure fantasy anime produced by Toei Animation and created by Akira Toriyama. Daima was Akira Toriyama’s last project before he passed last year. This new anime brought back the old classic Dragon Ball anime vibes, and fans loved it.

“Dragon Ball Daima begins with Gomah and Degetsu observing the events of the Buu Saga. The King Gomah, frightened by the powers of the Z Fighters, travels to Earth to use their Dragon Balls. He plans to transform those who defeated Majin Buu and their friends into kids.”

While Gomah and Degetsu watch the events on the monitor, Glorio secretly spying on them. He even followed Gomah to the Earth and asked Goku to defeat Gomah. Since Gomah took Dende with them and the Earth’s dragon ball was gone for a year, Goku decided to go with Glorio to the Demon Realm to save Deende and defeat Gomah.

To his surprise, Supreme chose to accompany them because he was familiar with the Demon Realm. While travelling to the Demon Realm, Supreme Kai started doubting Glorio’s intention. He suggests to Goku that Glorio is not a person they know. He is hiding something.

There’s no confirmation about his abilities in the series, and he hardly gets any opportunities to demonstrate his power. So, there is no way of telling how powerful Gloiro from Dragon Ball Daima is, but his existence and motive to defeat King Gomah show that he is probably stronger than Supreme Kai. Perhaps one of the strongest in the Demon Realm.

In Episode 1 of Dragon Ball Daima, fans learn about a new character who was spying on King Gomah, the ruler of the Demon Realm. Though Gomah is the King and spying on him means sudden death, still he was spying, showing his belief in his abilities.

Later, he travelled to Earth and asked Goku to join him on a journey to the Demon Realm to help defeat King Gomah. It shows Glorio’s fearless approach to his mission. But is that enough?

Why He Seek Goku’s Help To Defeat The King Gomah?

Goku is one of the strongest Z fighters and perhaps the only one who protected the Earth on multiple occasions and sacrificed himself more than once. So Glorio asking him to defeat King Gomah makes sense, but why only him, not others? Gomah and Degetsu watched the events of the Dragon Ball Z: Buu Saga in Episode 1 when they learned the defeat of Buu.

According to them, the person who defeated Margin Buu was Goku from Earth. He is a Saiyan who inherited greater strength to defeat opponents like Margin Buu.

But Goku takes his word lightly and never loses his trust in them. However, Supreme Kai’s suspicions turn into reality when he hears Gloria’s conversation with Dr. Arinsu, indicating his double standard in the show.

After Episode 7 of Dragon Ball Daima, fans start asking about Glorio’s role in the series. He appeared as a good guy who wanted to save the Demon Realm from King Goma. But the reality is the opposite, which could make the show more interesting.

In short, Gloria’s role is to help Dr. Arinsu’s motive. He can cross Goku and his friends in the Demon Realm and make them pay.

Glorio Vs. Goku: Who Will Win?

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 6 highlights the fight between Glorio and Goku after a little argument over the Minotaur. The protagonist suggests his fellow to leave the Minotaur for him as they might be too much to handle. Glorio mistakes Goku’s words for a taunt and decides to fight him. But it looks like the companion of Demo Realm misjudges Goku’s abilities and is defeated effortlessly.

There is no doubt that the fight between the two was friendly, with no winner or loser. But fans take it as a hint for the upcoming events when Glorio likely betray Z fighters for the Deamon Realm Dragon Ball.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 5 highlights Goku’s upcoming mission of gathering Demon Realm Dragon Ball and use to save Dende from King Gomah. It comes after the protagonist and his friends understand that travelling to the first Demon Realm takes lots of time and effort.

However, gathering Demon Realm Dragon Ball comes with its own set of challenges. Each Dragon Ball guard is by Tamagami, the fearsome guardians created by Neve. According to Panzy, no one in the Demon Realm defeated them and used the Dragon Ball — even Dabura was afraid of them and never tried to acquire them.

Fans are excited about seeing their beloved character in real action and Tamagami. They will satisfy their desire as the mighty guardians of the Demon Realm. However, there’s a possibility that Glorio might be involved in the fight against Tamagami. He is one of the characters whose true strength hasn’t reveal yet in the series. There’s no surprise if he even defeats Tamagami.

He travelled all the way to the Universe 7 Earth and asked Goku’s help to defeat the new Demon King without fearing the consequences of standing against King Gomah.
