UniteUp anime season 2 release date and cast have been revealed. The musical drama will be out in 2025.

UniteUp! is a slice-of-life animated series from Shinichiro Ushijima and Rino Yamazaki. Season 2 of UniteUp anime has been confirmed at the Aniplex Online Fest event 2024. A new glimpse of the show and the opening theme song are out as well. Fans enjoy the UniteUp opening theme music and the premiere date is announced.

UniteUp! is a musical drama and it features umpteen musical artists as the main characters. Akira Kiyose is the main character of the show and his dream is to become a big singer. A life-changing opportunity comes to Kiyose and his excitement is doubled when he joins an agency that is run by his idol. UniteUp season 1 has 12 episodes and the next season will have more than 10.

UniteUp Anime Story – Is It Good?

UniteUp is an emotional tale of students who aspire to become legendary singers like their idols. Akira Kiyose, a high school student and singer, releases songs under the name ‘KIKUNOYU’. Akira’s life changes when he is hired by the agency, sMiLea Production. Akira immediately accepts the deal as the agent is run by Anela, a legendary singer.

Akira has grown by listening to Anela’s musical works and his excitement peaks. Akira Kiyose also joins Banri Naoe and Chihiro Isuzugawa in the new agency and works together. All are inspired by idol groups LEGIT” and “JAXX/JAXX, and the students’ group is named Protostar. Throughout their journey, the students meet new singers.

The story of UniteUp focuses on how Akira Kiyose became a singer after being a baseball player in his teenage days. As a youngster, Akira Kiyose dreamed of becoming a hero, but he changed his mind after an interaction with his grandfather and mother. Season one ends when Akira becomes the group’s lead after an interaction with Daiki from the Legit group.
