Straw hat Brook devil fruit mind bending theories
So, in one piece world we know that for a devil fruit to reappear in the world the current user has to die. After his/her/ it’s (if eaten by an item) death it will reappear randomly somewhere in the world or near of its user’s death depending upon the situation.
The mystery surrounding the Yomi Yomi no Mi, or Brook’s Devil Fruit, is indeed an intriguing one in the world of One Piece. While there has been no official explanation from Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, on the full history of this particular Devil Fruit, there are some possible explanations and theories to consider
Brook (Soul King)
Brook was the first to eat the Yomi Yomi no Mi: One possibility is that Brook was indeed the first person to eat the Yomi Yomi no Mi, which granted him the ability to come back to life. This would mean that the fruit had never reappeared before Brook’s death, making it available for him to consume. It’s rare, but not impossible, for certain Devil Fruits to go undiscovered for an extended period.
The Yomi Yomi no Mi has special circumstances: Another explanation could be that the Yomi Yomi no Mi operates under unique rules compared to other Devil Fruits. For instance, it might not follow the usual cycle of reincarnation upon the user’s death. Instead, it could remain dormant for an extended period, waiting for a specific individual destined to eat it.
The Devil Fruit’s limitations: It’s also plausible that the Yomi Yomi no Mi does have a limitation on how many times a person can be brought back to life. Even though Brook has the ability to revive himself, there might be a restriction on the number of revivals, or perhaps each revival takes a toll on the user’s life force, shortening their overall lifespan.
Brook’s age and memory loss: The idea that Brook might be much older than we think is an interesting one. Memory loss and the passage of time could indeed have played a role in Brook’s journey, making him forget parts of his past. This could add a tragic element to his character and explain his longing for family and friends.
What may be the answer?
My puny brain couldn’t come with a plausible answer, so I am leaving this question here.
Pls let me know what you guys think.
And if by any chance, if this is an unexplored territory then, if possible, I would like this question to reach Oda Sensei.
As only he would be able to answer it with certainty.
